Word Search is a HTML5 Word Game.

The ZIP package contains the game with 640×960 resolution that scales to fit current screen device.
The game is fully compatible with all most common mobile device browsers.
This game has been developed in HTML5/js and third-party library CreateJs – http://createjs.com/ (not Construct2 or other framework).
You can easily customize the game using your own words modifying the json file:
To generate the matrix, follows these tips:
1)The number of letters of a single word must be minor than the matrix size (i.e. a 10×10 matrix can’t contain a word of 11 letters)
2)Avoid words containing uncommon letters
3)Take this tab as a reference to choose the lenght and the number of words to insert:
- From 0 to 1 word matrix dimension -2 (i.e. for a 10×10 matrix insert only one word of 8 letters)
- From 0 to 2 words mat. dim-3 (i.e. for a 10×10 matrix insert not more than 2 words of 7 letters)
- From 0 to 4 words (mat dim-4)
- From 0 to 4 words (mat dim-5)
- From 0 to 5 words (mat dim-6)
- From 0 to 6 words (mat dim-7)
WARNING:
- Sounds are enabled for mobile but we can’t grant full audio compatibility on all mobile devices due to some well-know issue between some mobile-browser and HTML5.
- So if you want to avoid sound loading, please read the documentation
- Sounds can’t be enabled for Windows Phone as this kind of device have unsolvable issues with <audio> and <video> tag.
- Level’s loading is managed by JSON.Chrome, for some security policies, doesn’t allow this kind of loading, locally.
This issue doesn’t occur with other browsers, like Firefox i.e.
Anyway, once you’ve uploaded the game on your server, it will work properly. - If you want to make an app out of this game, we suggest you to reskin or at least rebrand it
